Startup Follies

A "want-to-be" is someone in the process of becoming. The big question is what a person should expect when becoming what they want to become. There are two main points deterring a person's path: time and resources.

Time is an important and though many people say "The early bird gets the worm;" all experiences contribute to a complete person. The path curves, because a person needs to understand their strengthens and weaknesses or prepare for unordinary circumstances. Frequently, my grandmother and friends state they think about past situations to formulate plans for future experiences, so never take any experience for granted.

People are born with vocations. Inclined with natural talents, it is easy to identify what makes them successful. Sometimes options at school and various successes dilutes the mind; however, there are no mistakes. It might be important to improve weakness. My mother stated she would rather make mistakes, while young, so she knew how to deal with problems as an adult. Adults have less time to rectify mistakes. Truthfully, no one is too old or too young to begin a new life. It is possible at any age to change circumstances and begin a desirable life.

Startup businesses are an extension of past experiences. People wanting to change career paths are faced with the same difficulties. They must learn to be successful in their new career. Some people specialize in creating new businesses. They make it look easy, yet they must become accustom to the amount of work and time necessary before seeing results.

How much time does it take to create something out of nothing? That is the magic of business. Entrepreneurs take nothing; except, interests, experiences and skills to create something tangible or intellectual. Inventions begin as an idea in someone's mind. They write it on a piece of paper. Then they manufactured it, but it is only available to themselves and close friends. Eventually, it becomes real when held in people's hands.

Years of learning do not seem endless. An artist doodles in class; goes to college; gets a job working in art, and might become famous. It is relative to how far they want to go and opportunities over many cumulative years. Therefore, even if the artist is learns other skills, holding a regular job or wondering to find inspiration they are still developing years of experience, insight and knowledge until realizing what they can contribute to the world.

Whether going back to college to learn a new trade or spending time developing a product there are years dreaming about the future and doing what is needed to make dreams into reality. The idiom for business is to "Never use your own money." Why is this? This sounds selfish; however, whether living with parents, getting a loan or asking investors to loan money it takes a long time before gaining a profit.

The biggest situation undermining success is attitude. Someone already celebrating is not taking actions to make fantasies of wealth and power real. Walking around complaining, not wanting to help anyone harms the endeavor. Perhaps one day they will be famous; however, never paying back loans decreases the chances of receiving a future loan decreasing the amount of time needed to realize their dreams.

Maintain excellent relationships and constantly work toward the goal. A person living at home, while going to college, should do chores in addition to studying. Pay as you go, make sure they do not regret helping you. Do the dishes. Vacuum the floors. Take an interest in their life. If they have no need for these things talk to people. Keep an open mind and accept criticism. People working on the same or similar goal have indispensible advice. When getting behind in comparison to how much people helped you, create a way to offer assistance to them. Be effective by paying off the past while working on the future.

Screening candidates for a real-estate mentoring program people already working for mortgage companies, flipping houses and completing quick sales have an advantage. They already have years of knowledge and connections before starting the program. People are confused by testimonials; wherein, a person made thousands of dollars during their first year. Marketers fail to mention people not accepted into the program or those who struggled with seemingly endless challenges. They don't know anyone. They are not sure how it works. No one started a similar business in the area before them, so there is no local office.

No one escapes time. Not even those who specialize in startup business. It takes three to five years before signs of success become visible. During this time constantly readjust everything, until it is an acceptable level of quality. If you are making a huge change in your life keep your job until knowing the venture will be successful. If there are no signs of success drop the project. If able to get funding from someone else, make sure making the idea successful is a fulltime job, because even if time is endless, resources are limited.
