Honest Businesses

There is a false perception about the integrity of Businesspeople and everyone in the public eye. While many chose to believe they are unscrupulous in order to make a dollar, protecting brand name is incredibly important; therefore, Business Owners protect reputations with high standards to ensure the company is never scandalous.

Some chose to believe they are never found guilty because they have a lot of money to win court cases and offer settlements. Truthfully scandals and lawsuits are costly. The cost of paying lawyers is and exorbitant cost that is avoidable. Business Owners attempt to be the best they can in offering products and services.

An infamous story involves Tylenol. They released an inferior product and recalled millions of bottles. This hurt the company. They invented a tamper proof lid and now Tylenol is one of the most trusted Over-the-Counter Pharmaceuticals in the world.

It is difficult for everyone going into business. A major problem is producing income. There are several people who gave up on owning a business, because it seems impossible to breakeven, especially in the beginning.

In these situations it seems as though Business Owners lied, cheated and stole to stay in business. It is a simple matter of working hard, improving product and balancing peaks with lulls. Manufacturing Companies and Artists count on peak sale times to collect enough money to provide jobs throughout a year.

Different from collecting a paycheck, employees are paid weekly, biweekly or monthly. Employees do not worry about peak seasons. Business Executives balance income to cover expenses, unless a person works solely on compensation.

People with experience with a compensation based wage understand saving cash when it is available. Even a delivery driver knows to save tips from Game Nights, because it could be slow for weeks until customers are ordering food again. Budgeting is difficult. Every day is different.

Providing jobs and honoring contracts, is difficult. Occasionally a major company is caught doing something dishonest, because they were. This might destroy the company; however, when thinking of millions of companies employing people and operating honestly to make an annual profit, dishonest companies are rare.

Noticing how easy it is to idealize large businesses and corporations, a person should be finding honest companies to mentor and avoid idealizing media scandals as a primary source of information on how to manage a company. These scandals cause damage and harm to companies. Trying to be dishonest invites strife into life. Of course, everyone makes mistakes, so it is also important to be gracious when witnessing another person's hardship.
